Pres Sez – March 2017

Last month I had the virus that “keeps on giving” and was sorry I had to miss the February meeting. Thank you to Tom and the other members who helped make the meeting a success.
Between having a real winter (wet, cold, and damp) and my illness, I have still not completed several kits that I have on the workbench. When I complete them I will bring them in to share. Meanwhile here is a short 15 min that K6UDA made on a new WSPRnet device for check your antenna propagation.

At this month’s meeting we will feature George WB9KXD and Pet K6PET as our speakers discussing digital modes. Pet will also be talking about his recently completed delta loop antenna.

I know we have recently had some new members join and I look forward to meeting them in person. Thanks to our website and outreach efforts our club is growing.

Larry has started the process of procuring a park permit for Field Day. Thank you Larry.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the March meeting.
