Prez Sez September 2017

Hi Everyone, The latest news on the repeater situation is that Pet and Mark K. went up the mountain yesterday and installed our new Samlex power supply. This should put the problems we have been having to rest. The new supply is a rack mounted four times redundant supply. It has 4 20A sections and if one or more go bad the others will still function to keep things going.Thank you to Pet, Mark K., and David for taking care of this....

July 2017 General Meeting

2017 Field Day (June-24-25)

CVRC’s 2017 ARRL Field Day was a great success. The club has gained popularity, new members, and public interest. In spite of the poor radio conditions, Saturday’s weather was very cooperative and surprisingly pleasant, with a brief drizzle of rain. We had a very good turn out of members and visitors. This year has brought more public interest and awareness with the help of George Eckart (KJ6LA), distributing to public...
